Heaven's Hollow Eros Dagger ("Dagger")

Dagger was an amazing young buck who had so much spunk and vigor. We said an unexpected and tragic goodbye to him, due to a freak accident, on June 17th, 2021. He will be sorely missed!

We were blessed to have Dagger sire TEN kids in the 2021 season. Please click here to see Dagger's

(aka: Eros Dagger) pedigree.

SG Prairie Wood Gabby ("Gabby")

Gabby was our herd queen and was taken from this earth too soon. A silent and quick killer, Interstitial Pneumonia, took her swiftly in the early morning hours of February 6, 2022. In the three years we had her here with us, she brought several beautiful, strong babies into this world. We loved her kids so much that we have retained two of them for our herd.

We will surely miss her!

Little Pipsqueak ("Pip")

March 20, 2023 - September 26, 2023

Little Pip was born at just a little over 1lbs, and we knew she was going to be special. Her little legs did not want to hold her body up, but she was able to gain strength over the first few weeks of her life by having homemade leg braces (made from broken popsicle sticks and vet tape). She was strong enough to finally join the herd at about 6 weeks old, and she was very independent. Since she grew up with the dogs in the home, she thought she was a dog and not a goat. She was often found out grazing on her own and wasn't scared of most things that typically startle goats...such as tractors, ATVs, dogs, etc. She was chill and absolutely loved to eat. The only way to know she was "special" was due to her minuscule size and her paralyzed little tail.

We think her little body simply wasn't growing as quickly as her innards, and we may never really know what caused her death at the tender age of 6 months. Her passing was too sudden, and we will never fill the huge hole she has left here at Twilight Ranch and in our hearts! RIP my little Pip.

Heaven's Hollow Eden's Bae ("Bae")

April 20, 2016 - March 19, 2024

Bae's passing was a devastating loss to our family and our herd. She was the epitome of sweetness and grace. She was a finished champion and brought such joy to us. She had a difficult birth, giving birth to a deceased nearly 7-pound baby boy, that she just could not recover from. Luckily for us, we were able to save the little doeling she had as well. We lovingly named her Bae's Hallelujah and call her "Halley" for short. We know she will inevitably fill the large hoof prints her momma leaves behind but we will forever miss our sweet Bae. Heaven's Hollow Sweet As Honey ("Honey")

March 26, 2020 - August 17, 2024

Honey held a special place in Amie's heart because she was a birthday gift from her husband in 2020. She immediately stuck to Amie and followed her like a puppy. She never passed a chance to sit on Amie's lap, even when she was a full-grown doe. We sadly lost Honey unexpectedly to a rattlesnake bite.

Honey produced beautiful kids, and she was a fantastic momma. We kept one of her daughters, Khaleesi, so we have some comfort in seeing the remnants of Honey in her, but nothing will ever replace what Honey provided. Her presence will leave a lasting void, and her absence is deeply felt by all of us. Click HERE to view her pedigree and feel free to reach out to us with any inquiries you may have about her!

Big Mtn Country Zari ("Zari")

May 17, 2018 - March 31, 2025

On March 31st, we said goodbye to Zari, our very first goat and guiding star. Nearly seven years old, she set the bar for everything we dreamed our herd could be—graceful, curious, and unwaveringly loyal. Her gentle spirit and bold personality shaped every decision we made, and her absence leaves a quiet ache in our pasture. Losing Zari was devastating, and our herd will never be quite the same without her. Though she’s gone, her impact endures in every hoofbeat, every soft bleat, and in our hearts forever.
